Page layouts and navigation
Room startup, presentation, conferencing, source selection, audio and camera controls. Frequent actions stay easy to find, while technician settings can sit in a separate area when the platform and scope support it.
Wirewolf / Commercial AV / Touch Panel GUI Design
A GUI designer working alongside AV programming
Custom interfaces for meeting rooms, event spaces and commercial AV systems. Our GUI designer brings clear navigation, consistent visual design and useful feedback to the controls your users touch every day.
GUI design CAD 90/hour before applicable taxes. Scope and estimated hours agreed before work.
For integrators delivering a new system and organizations improving an existing room. We agree what users need to do, then design the pages and feedback around those tasks.
Room startup, presentation, conferencing, source selection, audio and camera controls. Frequent actions stay easy to find, while technician settings can sit in a separate area when the platform and scope support it.
Colours, typography, icons and layouts designed for the actual panel size. Apply your brand guidelines or develop a consistent visual direction, with readable labels, clear contrast and usable touch targets.
Selected inputs, mute, startup in progress and unavailable equipment need different feedback. We define these states with the programmer and match them to the information the installed system can actually report.
Agree the required screens, editable design assets, implementation files and review rounds in the proposal. Coordinate the visual design with control logic, then check the interface on the target device as part of the agreed project scope.
Switch two displays independently, choose the room audio source and see how pending actions and unavailable equipment are presented.
This is an original browser simulation. It demonstrates interface behaviour with no equipment connected and is not a completed customer project.
Plan the interface around the selected panel model, resolution and project technology. Combine the design with Crestron control programming, or hand agreed design assets to your programming team.
Design Q-SYS user control interfaces and Biamp Canvas layouts where appropriate for the project. Confirm target hardware, software and licensing before implementation. Explore our Q-SYS and Biamp Tesira programming services.
GUI design and device programming are distinct parts of the scope. A mockup alone does not control equipment. We can coordinate both, or provide a defined design package for another programmer to implement.
Discuss who uses the room, its main modes and any problems with the current interface. Panel models and existing screenshots are helpful when available.
Review representative screens, navigation and key states. Agree the direction and review rounds before extending it across the interface.
Build the required platform assets and coordinate joins, controls and feedback with the programming owner. Confirm responsibilities for any third-party modules.
Review readability, navigation and feedback on the target panel. Deliver the agreed editable files and record any hardware-dependent checks still awaiting site access.
We also provide AV system design and commissioning. See our illustrative room-control and audio-routing examples to explore how interface decisions connect to system behaviour.
Remote collaboration is available for projects in Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand and Ireland, with other locations worldwide by agreement. Schedule, timezone and access are agreed for each project. On-site work in the GTA and Ontario is scoped separately.
A short description of the room and your target date is enough to start. Call or email us to discuss a new design or an existing panel that needs improvement.
GUI design: CAD 90/hour. Programming is scoped separately at CAD 115/hour for senior work or CAD 95/hour for mid-level work. Before applicable taxes. See all rates and pricing details.
