This page covers two different kinds of clients. The first is AV integrators and contractors who have a project that needs a Crestron or Q-SYS programmer and do not want to keep one on staff — send the drawings and the scope, get back a working, documented program. The second is end users: a corporate boardroom, a conference room or a home with AV hardware already on the wall that a previous integrator installed and either never finished programming or programmed badly. Both get the same person doing the work — a certified AV field engineer and control-system programmer who builds and programs commercial AV for a living.
That matters because most programming problems in a finished room are not a hardware problem. The gear is on the rack, the cable is run, and the touch panel still does not do what the room needs it to do. That is a programming job, not an install job, and it is what this page is for.
No fixed development prices on this page — every project gets a scope call and a written, fixed-price proposal before any code gets written. A one-device driver and a multi-room commissioning are not the same job.

Field engineer, not just a programmer at a desk. The person who writes your Crestron or Q-SYS program is the same person who has pulled cable, mounted displays and commissioned rooms on site. Code gets written for the room that actually got built — the display that ended up on the wrong wall input, the DSP channel that got renamed halfway through the job — not just for the drawing it was supposed to match.
Documented and commented. Programs get delivered with comments that explain what the logic does and why, not a wall of unlabeled symbols. The next person who opens the file — you, your own tech, or another contractor — can follow it.
Project source handover. The proposal defines the source files, documentation and licence rights provided to you and whoever services the system after us. Third-party licensing still applies.
Remote-first. Most of the programming and diagnostic work happens over the network, which is why we take clients across Canada and the US this way. On-site visits for pull, terminate and hands-on commissioning are available across the GTA and Ontario.
Scope call. We start with a call to go over the equipment list, the drawings if you have them, and what the room or the project actually needs to do.
Fixed-price proposal. After the scope call you get a written, fixed-price proposal — not an hourly estimate that can drift once work starts.
Development. Programming happens against the agreed scope, with progress checked against real hardware or a test environment wherever possible, not just simulated on a laptop.
Factory or on-site commissioning. Programs get tested and commissioned — remotely against the client's or integrator's hardware, in an agreed test environment, or on-site for GTA/Ontario jobs — before handoff.
Handover with docs. You get the source files, program documentation, and a walkthrough of what was built, so the system does not depend on us being reachable to keep running.
